Product Description:

"Grown in deep golden loess soil (gelben can be translated as ‘golden’ or yellow). Gently pressed with a slow fermentation. Riesling grown in a loess soil gives a rounder and fruitier wine compared to Riesling grown in the Wachau." - Importer

About the Estate
"Josef Ehmoser and his wife, Martina, are crafting world-class wines in the Wogram, a region known for its deep loess soils that lie on a bedrock of marine sediment with clay up to twelve meters below the surface. The philosophy of the Ehmosers is to respect nature in the vineyards and also in the winery, highlighting the personality of each wine without forcing it on a prescribed path. Whites are fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees. The Ehmoser wines show great purity of fruit and distinctly express the famous loess soil." - Importer
