"2008 is a very good vintage at Gunderloch, maybe more in line qualitatively with the 2004 collection from Qba - Spaatlese. Fritz explained that in 2008 there was a great focus on quality via harvest management. With varying conditions vineyard to vineyard, the Hasselbach’s felt additional training for the harvest team was in order to show the pickers how to precisely select the grapes.
