"Light, bright red berries and lemon on the nose here; nectarine too. The palate is fine, even and has bright assertive, refreshing acid drive with good balance. Drink now."

"The new release of Bruno Paillard’s Brut Rosé “Prémier Cuvée” is a very young wine that is a delicately pale salmon color that recalls a bit the Rosés from folks like Krug. The wine is very young, but shows plenty of promise in its superb bouquet of tangerine, a touch of cranberry, brad dough, chalky soil tones and a dollop of orange rind in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and currently quite high-toned, with a good core of fruit, refined mousse, crisp acids and lovely focus and grip on the very long and snappy finish. Give this fine bottle at least a year of cellaring to blossom. It should age very well and should peak in four or five years. 2013-2025+." (08/13)
