The 2021 Pinot Noir Lemoravo Vineyard is bright and effusive in feel. Sweet dried cherry, cedar, pipe tobacco, mint, crushed flowers and anise give the 2021 a super-appealing upper register. The Lemoravo is the most ethereal of these Pinots.
Product Description:
Lemoravo Vineyard sits at 400 feet above the Salinas Valley floor, on the eastern slopes of the Santa Lucia Highlands. It is a small vineyard, only 28 acres, and is part of Kirk Williams’ portfolio of properties. As a tribute to this land’s history, the name is a three-word portmanteau as a tribute to its former crops: Lemons, Oranges and Avocados. This is Wrath’s second bottling of Lemoravo Vineyard fruit. The wine begins with aromas of Ollalie blackberries and ripe strawberries with a hint of herbs and opens to flavors of blackberry balanced with more strawberry, rhubarb and spicy white peppercorn. The mouthfeel is juicy and bright with youthful acidity from its cold growing environment. - Winery
