Another single vineyard from the Sta. Rita Hills, the 2018 Pinot Noir Kessler-Haak Vineyard (destemmed and aged in used barrels) reveals a similar translucent ruby/plum color as well as notes of spiced cherries, black raspberries, Asian spices, dried herbs, and flowery incense. It too is medium-bodied, rounded, silky and polished on the palate, and it leads with fruit.
