"Grown in the southernmost boundary of the Sonoma Coast in the Russian River Valley, six vineyards made up the blend of California and Burgundian Dijon clones for this elegant red. Aromas of cardamom-spiced cherry skins, briar, saddle leather and cola are a treasure to the nose. The impression of complexity and balance of acid and round tannins allow a generous juiciness on the palate. A slight grip on mid-palate includes flavors of espresso, blueberry and oak. The finish wakes up an earthy character, punctuated by cinnamon and black pepper."

"The exotic aroma shows off spicy notes of cardamom, tamarind, allspice and cinnamon. This expands into mouthwatering candied red cherries and berry fruits — red raspberries, wild strawberries, ripe boysenberries and juicy blackberries. Cocoa nibs, cola, white chocolate, candied violets, crème brûlée, caramel and just a hint of blood orange add layers of complexity.
