William Kelley - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Aromas of raspberries, small red berries, cherries, orange rind and sweet soil tones introduce Chevillon's excellent 2017 Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes, a medium-bodied, supple and expressive wine with an open-knit core of succulent fruit and fine-grained structuring tannins. As usual, it's an excellent representation of the appellation.
90 John Gilman - View from the Cellar
The 2017 old vine bottling of Nuits AC is outstanding chez Chevillon, offering up an expressive and very pure bouquet of black cherries, sweet dark berries, raw cocoa, a superb base of dark soil tones, gamebird, woodsmoke and a discreet framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full and nicely sappy at the core, with a soil-driven personality, ripe tannins and excellent focus and grip on the poised, complex and perfectly balanced finish. A superb villages in the making! 2023-2055.
