“All vineyards are at the very least farmed sustainably, though many are farmed organically. We also employ many techniques from the biodynamic calendar and practices though nothing I work with is certified biodynamic. Much care and time is spent with our hand work though out the summer to ensure proper spacing of clusters to allow for both proper sun exposure and air flow. Furthermore, I do not believe in pulling much leaf. Rather, I like to hollow the interior of canopies to allow for dappled sunlight and airflow to minimize the risk of rot brought on by the constant marine influence we contend with here. This interior leafing allows for more coverage and protection of the fruit allowing for finer aromatics in the fruit." ~ Justin Willett
