About

Rating:

91

The 2014 Pimentiers from Guillaume Camus is again, very stylish out of the blocks, with lovely depth of fruit and excellent soil signature, The nose wafts from the glass in a mix of cherries, red plums, red currants, woodsmoke, lovely minerality, gamebirds and just a touch of raw cocoa. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and quite stony in personality, with a fine core of pure fruit, ripe tannins and fine mineral drive on the long and youthful finish. Good juice in the making here. 2020-2050+.
