Quite a savoury statement on the nose as it starts out, nicely toasty oak and some dark roasted spices here, plenty of dark cherry fruit below, plenty of youthful fruit and a wealth of complexity too. The palate has smooth, supple tannin that reaches long and even, plum and dark cherry flavours carry deep, good drive and balance here. Drink in 2016.
