A fresh, focused Champagne, with firm acidity framing the flavors of poached pear, blackberry and chopped almond that are carried on the satiny mousse. A streak of salinity drives the finish with its aromatic hints of lilac and ground ginger. Disgorged January 2020. Drink now through 2024.

Product Description:

The vineyards are entirely from the village of Vandières which is along the Marne River, a few villages west of Cumières. Vandières has the same rating as Merfy, where Chartogne-Taillet is located, but the parcels here are situated in a south-eastern facing amphitheater around the village, much like Oger, which allows the grapes to become very ripe.
