The 2017 Barbaresco Rabajà-Bas is laced with the essence of dark cherry, red plum, mocha, licorice and rose petal. It offers lovely depth in a mid-weight style, with terrific fruit presence and impeccable balance. And that is the key word: balance. The 2017 is all harmony and all class. I would cellar it for a few years to allow the tannins to soften.
