It edges towards the impression of 'completeness'. Rakes of tannin, drives of acid, imposing fruit, leather and spice. Most impressive. A good option for the medium term cellar."

"15% whole bunches. Grown on vines now 18 years old; not such babies anymore. This should mature well. It’s well rounded, finished, structured. Sweet-savoury flavours of leather, cherry pie, spice and cream come strained through fine lines of tannin. Will mature well over the medium term, or longer."
