James Halliday - Australian Wine Companion:

"Dean Hewitson notes that the oldest Baby Bush vines are now 18yo, 'so not quite babies anymore'. This release included 15% whole bunches in the ferment. It hasn't hurt the wine's sense of self. It edges towards the impression of 'completeness'. Rakes of tannin, drives of acid, imposing fruit, leather and spice. Most impressive. A good option for the medium term cellar."

Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front:

"15% whole bunches. Grown on vines now 18 years old; not such babies anymore. This should mature well. It’s well rounded, finished, structured. Sweet-savoury flavours of leather, cherry pie, spice and cream come strained through fine lines of tannin. Will mature well over the medium term, or longer."
