Deep ruby red with violet reflections. Dark and intense scents with many berries as well as violet flowers, spices and notes of barrel aging. A nice strong wine to the taste, with intense notes of wild berries, well-integrated tannins, with a long, long finish. A classic deep red from southern Italy, but also with slightly more evident tannins, which give some structure to the rich taste of the sun-ripened grapes. Pair with a variety of different dishes such as beef, barbecue, cheese platter or as an accompaniment to tasty first courses. ~ Winery
