"The “typical” growing conditions and the ability to take advantage of more hang time provided the beautiful deep color to this vintage. Under Winemaker Brett Adams' care, the fruit had no issues during fermentation and the result is a wine with beautiful aromas of black cherry, brown sugar, violet and nuances of toasted nuts.
Although a Merlot-based blend, the 32% of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot add depth of color with complex aromas and flavors. The color is fantastic; a deep, dark red inviting you to experience a combination of red fruits such as plum and raspberry jam along with allspice and vanilla. Soft, well integrated tannins result in a wine with beautiful finish." - Winery
