88-90Lisa Perrotti-Brown - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Bellegrave (Pomerol) opens with seductive plum preserves, blueberry pie and blackberry compote notes with touches of licorice, dusty soil, cinnamon stick and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with juicy black fruits and loads of spicy accents, framed by plush tannins and just enough freshness, finishing on an aniseed note.
