85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc - From estate vines located in Saint Philippe d'Aiguilhe. Soil: clay/limestone Vines: grass in between the rows, Guyot pruning, debudding and deleafing. Harvest: mechanical with sorting of the berries. Vinification: cold maceration in concrete tanks before the alcoholic fermentation, pigeage. Aged in tanks for 18 months. Generous and opulent, this is a wine delicious with beef and cheese, but it will also work well with a variety of comfort food (stewed dish, BBQ, pizza…).
