This has been such a reliable, well-priced Bordeaux-style red, and this latest offering delivers excellent quality again. The fragrant bouquet shows cassis, blueberry, spice and a hint of dried herb notes. It's ripe and beautifully expressive on the palate with a rounded mouthfeel, nicely supported by fine, elegant dry tannins. A blend of 69% merlot, 13% cabernet sauvignon, 9% cabernet franc, 9% malbec. At its best: 2014 to 2020.

The proportions of the blend change most vintages to reflect conditions of the year and to ensure that we meet a certain 'house style'. It is a wine of richness with an abundance of black fruit flavours and a long structured finish complete with dusty tannins of the area.

Vibrant deep colour with purple hues. Fresh aromatics of dark cherry, plum and dried herbs. The palate is lithe with balanced acidity and rich tannin providng a youthful backbone to the lovely sweet fruited core. - Winery
