Complex earthy, mineral, smoky oak and coffee bouquet. The dense and complex palate reveals a black-fruited, terroir-driven style with lovely fruit purity, suave tannins and an expressive, lingering finish. It is just waiting to reveal yet further complexity and has an assured future.

The 2017 'Aquiana' begins with inviting aromatics of raspberries and red berries which come together with herbs, minerals and hints of white pepper and oak. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a lovely silky mouthfeel, underlined by streaks of minerality. The finish is long and velvety, marked by flavors of red fruits and spices linger on. While this is drinking excellent right now, it should also continue to evolve over beautifully the next few years.
