"The Walls and the talented Ali Mayfield have crafted another great wine with their 2016 ‘The Ramparts’ release. On the nose this takes on nice range, from red fruits to orange rind to smoky tones. The palate shows nice high toned citrus and delicate red fruit overtones from the large percentage of Grenache and touch of Viognier. Lithe and downright sexy, this elegant Rhone style wine is drinking marvelously right now."
