"I loved the 2016 Lirac from Mont Redon. A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and the rest Mourvèdre, it has a voluminous, medium to full-bodied, silky, elegant style as well as terrific notes of cassis, black raspberries, strawberries, and spice. It’s already impossible to resist but will keep for 5-6 years, if not longer. It’s one of the gems from Lirac in 2016."

"Red-cherry and blackberry notes are shaded by tones of anise and forest floor in this full-bodied, Grenache-dominant red. Red-currant acidity lends crispness to the midpalate, accented by fine but drying, grippy tannins on the finish. Enjoy this elegantly structured but easy-drinking wine now through 2026. -AL"

"Friendly raspberry and plum fruit flavors stream through, flecked liberally with anise and fruitcake hints. A graphite edge guides the finish. Drink now through 2027. 30 cases imported. — JM'

"A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, one-third of the 2016 Lirac was aged in barrel, the remainder in tank. There's a hint of cedar and baking spices apparent on the nose but also plenty of cherry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it's silky, balanced and mouthwatering, with ample length and hints of black tea on the finish."
"A result of selective sorting and a blend of cask and vat aging, this cuvee offers a fruity, floral and spicy profile resting on a generous and refined mouth. " -Importer
