Another in a long line of textbook wines from this estate, the 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Tradition displays subtle peppery, cinnamon & cherry notes on the nose. It's velvety in texture, turning to silk on the long, spicy finish. This full-bodied wine is 75% Grenache from ten different lieux-dits, primarily on galets roules. A nice red purple color with shiny highlights. On the nose, this Chateauneuf-du-Pape spreads aromas of little red berries. It has a sweeping silky smooth mouth. It will ideally be served with game, such as jugged hare or jugged boar.
