Jeb Dunnuck - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:

The 2014 Cotes du Rhone Cercius (85% Grenache and 15% Syrah) is another hedonistic, sexy and beautifully ripe southern Rhône that offers notes of wild strawberries, blackberry jam, pepper and violets. Raised all in concrete, it’s medium to full-bodied, has beautiful purity and sells for a song. It should drink well on release. Michel commented that 2013 was the latest harvest he'd ever had and the Grenache and Mourvèdre weren’t brought in until the second half of October. His wines show a touch of the austerity that’s common in the vintage, yet they have beautiful purity and ripe tannin. They’ll be better in another year or so as well. The 2014 vintage was a more normal year, yet the cool summer kept more acidity and freshness in the wines. The 2014s are ready to go now, so drink these while you give the 2013s some time in bottle.
