"Bright ruby-red. Vibrant and sharply focused on the nose, displaying an array of red fruit, floral scents and candied flowers. The smooth and sweet palate delivers sappy black raspberry and cherry flavors, with a suggestion of spicecake. Fleshy, seamless and broad, the subtly tannic finish clings with strong, fruity tenacity. The Garrut variety is very likely a mutation of Monastrell but that's still up for debate. What we do know is that it's indigenous to this little region and rarely encountered nowadays."
