"In addition to their Chateauneufs, they own plots in Cotes du Rhone that border the northern edge of the appellation. A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre that's aged all in concrete, the 2012 Cotes du Rhone was slightly less impressive at this tasting than when I tasted earlier this year (previously rated 92). Nevertheless, it-s supple, seamless and elegant, with sweet blackberry, kirsch, bouquet garni and floral aromas and flavors, and will impress for another 3-4 years. Drink now-2018."
