92Stephan Reinhardt - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2014 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Steingrubler combines the flinty purity of the Steingrubler with the spiciness and floral talents of Gewurz, as well as the freshness of the vintage. And no, no drosophila flavors here (2014 Suzukii!). On the palate the wine is round, firm and spicy, very elegant but still very young, with a tightly woven, well-concentrated and refreshing finish. Although bottled with 28 grams of residual sugar, the 2014 tastes pretty (medium) dry thanks to its freshness and good tannin structure. This will be an excellent wine with many kinds of spicy dishes based on fat fish. Lychee and tropical fruit flavors in the long finish."
