Sappy, fleshy and broad on the palate, offering concentrated bitter cherry, blueberry and fruitcake flavors that show no rough edges and turn sweeter and more lively with air. In an ample but energetic style, finishing broad, floral and very long, with fine-grained tannins adding shape and youthful grip."

"Quite light and sleek. The firm tannins dominate a bit at the moment, but there’s plenty of cherry character in there, too. Slightly warm finish. A solid wine, but it’s trying too hard and less would have been more. Better in 2020."
