"At only 27 years old Yohan Lardy has truly come to his own by returning to his Beaujolais after completing a BTS Viti-Oeno and spending a number of months working in Chile for an estate harvesting and winemaking. Without hesitation he purchased 2 ha and is now working organically a total of 6.5 hectares in Beaujolais, primarily in Moulin-a-Vent with small plots in Fleurie, Chenas and Beaujolais-Villages.

His vineyards are striking - with lots of diversity, excellent south facing exposure and picturesque backgrounds. The vines are not trellised and quite old at 40-111 years old. His vines are carefully maintained and are surrounded by the beauty of poppy flowers. All work is manual including harvest with an average yield of 45hl/ha. As expected from his vineyard practices he allows for native yeast fermentation and adds no sulfites." - Importer
