"The 2015 Fleurie La Madone is stunning, soaring from the glass with aromas of raspberries, Griotte cherry, rose petals, grilled meat and incipient hints of forest floor. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, with superb concentration, fine-grained structuring tannins and juicy acids, more fragrant and mineral than Chanudet's Moulin-à-Vent though similarly atypically rich. Beautifully balanced and built for the long haul, this will also make for dramatic drinking in its youth."
