Light-bodied and mouthwatering, this elegant white features a creamy hint of crushed almond underscoring flavors of fleshy yellow peach, spring blossom and pink grapefruit zest on the stony finish. Drink now through 2021. 1,166 cases made.
"The region’s enological emblem, il Friulano is the most widespread native vine in Friuli. To the palate, it’s full-bodied and robust, maintaining an optimal balance between freshness and softness. It is rendered even more precious thanks to its intriguing mineral flair.
The de-stemmed grapes are softly pressed and macerated at low temperatures. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in steel at a constant temperature of 16°C. The wine remains in yeast for approx. four months and after bottling, it is refined in the bottle for at least two months.
This wine is a lively yellow of mid-range intensity and it appears crystalline in the glass. It’s perfumes are clear-cut and well-defined. You’ll discover meadow flowers, jasmine and pear. To the mouth, it’s compact and vibrant, approachable and pleasant. This wine boasts good structure and persistence and it gives off an agreeable mineral taste that adds flavor at the finish." -Winery
