"Bright yellow-gold. Fine Chardonnay maturing well. Excellent harmony & vinosity. SF: Persuasive mousse and very attractive aromatics of summer flowers, honeydew melon and Mirabelle plum. The palate has definition, concentration and amazing, intense fruit character. It somehow draws from the red fruit end of the spectrum despite its white grape provenance. Impressive, if a little oaky. TH: A touch ashy with old lemon peel on the nose. But the palate of vellum and assertive citric fruit has a lovely light weight and subtlety to it. It speaks on its feet, imploring attention, and grows on me."

"Notes of apricot preserves, honey and baking spice are layered, with vibrant acidity and flavors of lemon curd, brioche and slivered almond in a sleek, elegant frame. Chalky in texture, delivering a lasting, saline finish. Drink now through 2020. 500 cases imported. — AN"

"This is chardonnay from the family’s vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Vertus, 30 percent vinified in barriques, presented without malolactic and with a low dosage. The first thing you might notice is the texture, with its fine bubble sparkling around the edges of the wine’s lush, creamy roundness. Then the cool flavors come up, bringing orange pith and orange zest over yellow fruit, loquat and apple. It’s a savory wine with a strong connection to the Côte des Blancs."
"Brilliant pale gold, with tight bead and ersistent mousse. Chardonnay green pear apple and toasted bread on the nose, with distinct wet stone minerality. Lush creamy mousse upon entry, rich full and crisp, with warm toasty elements. Explosive aged Chardonnay elements, intense minerality and great depth of flavor. Length and persistence of Burgundian style Chardonnay in the finish. Regardless of whether a festive occasion, aperitif high class, or with dinner, it deserves to be enjoyed with delicate dishes such as a Sole “Meuniere,” steamed lobster, or halibut." - Importer
