In bottle since last August. Pale lemon and lime. The nose is floral but with a mineral crispness beneath. Quite linear, less flesh than certain years, a limestone feel at the finish. Could use just a touch more in the middle. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted Nov 2022.
Product Description:
The Buisson family name is closely linked to the destiny of Saint-Romain, a wine-growing village since its origins. All of them, as far back as we can remember, have always worked the vines since 1758. It was Henri Buisson, a true pioneer, who planted 5 hectares of vines and thus wrote the first page of the family destiny, by setting up as an independent winegrower in 1947, the date on which Saint-Romain obtained its AOC.
This independence, this freedom, the "Henri and Gilles Buisson" estate has been claiming it ever since, by practicing a wine culture faithful to its deep values. Gilles, Henri's son, and his wife Monica will continue the story in their own way. They will extend the vineyard which will reach 14 hectares in 2000. They will create from scratch a new vat room and invest in winemaking equipment. Thanks to them, the locomotive is in motion. They pass on to their children a high-performance tool that will allow the two brothers to express themselves.
