The 2019 Corte de Blancas 45º Rugientes is a blend of 48% Chardonnay, 27% Gewürztraminer and 25% Pinot Gris from Sarmiento, in the heart of Chubut. It was aged in foudres for 18 months. Greenish-yellow in the glass. It gives off complex aromas of herbs and white flowers with hints of pineapple over a very fine bed of wood. Voluminous with good tension, it grows progressively deeper while the malic acidity tickles the gums. Those who enjoy the wines of Alsace will appreciate this offering from the other side of the world.
