A cool, pure and pretty combination consists of notes of citrus-inflected apple, pear, spice and a touch of wood influence. The racy and solidly voluminous flavors possess a lovely mid-palate texture that carries over to the lingering finish that also reflects ample citrus character.

89-91 Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media

Good palish yellow. Reticent aromas of citrus fruit and menthol. Less complex, sweet and broad than the Chenevottes but more minerally, with its citrus flavors complicated by flowers and a medicinal menthol note. Quite closed in the early going but finishes firm and persistent. This wine is a 50/50 blend of vines planted in 1952 and 1988. (12.9% alcohol)
