The 2016 Willamette Valley Chardonnay is scented of soft lemon meringue and faint white flowers with touches of fresh sliced almond, honey toast and hay. Medium-bodied, it bursts into the mouth with honey-drizzled Red Delicious apple, citrus blossoms, tangy Greek yogurt, toast, petrichor and crushed rock, with a wicked backbone of acidity, finishing very long and toasty. 520 cases produced.
