91 Antonio Galloni - Vinous

The 2016 Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County) is brilliant, focused and tense, all qualities that add to the wine's considerable appeal. Lemon peel, sea salt, white flowers and white pepper are beautifully delineated, while a slight hint of reduction adds further nuance throughout. This is a fabulous appellation-level wine.
