Allen Meadows - Burghound
"A slightly fresher nose is composed by notes of matchstick and lemongrass. There is a notably more refined mouth feel to the lightly mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that also possess slightly better vibrancy on the delicious, complex and nicely persistent finish. This too should be approachable young."

"A lively, fruity style, offering lemon, floral, sweet spice and toast aromas and flavors. Balanced and elegant, finishing with a crisp profile. Best from 2019 through 2028. 60 cases imported."

"Pale, light yellow. Bright aromas of apple, pear, spices and powdered stone. Pliant, harmonious, dry and moderately rich, with apple, grapefruit pith, menthol and dusty stone flavors showing a hint of white-pepper austerity. Broad but fine-grained and light on its feet, this wine needs a bit of time in bottle to expand. A bit firmer on the finish than the Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot. This was previously a négociant bottling but Faiveley purchased these vines in 2015."
"The 25 acre 1er Cru Champ Gains sits on the upper slopes of the hillside just below La Garenne and north of the Grand Crus. The vineyard has an ideal slope to the southeast with light, well drained soils of clay and limestone." -Importer
