"In 2008, Dominique Lafon, winemaker/owner of the renowned Comtes Lafon estate in Meusault, started his own eponymous label - and currently works approximately 4.5 hectares in Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, and Beaune. Legally, the Dominque Lafon brand has négociant status but it is operated like a small domaine and Dominique rarely buys grapes. Total production annually is only 400 cases. Exceptional quality and value here, especially the Meursault-like Bourgogne Blanc!
