"The 2014 Westerly Bentrock Vineyard Chardonnay is a tightly knit, elegant wine that authoritatively illustrates the style of the Sta. Rita Hills. Bright, balanced acidity allied with a mouth- filling tension on the palate gives this wine razor-like precision and sharpness of focus. The bouquet is highlighted by aromas of white flowers, minerals and wet rocks- while the palate is deftly layered with flavors of stone fruits and citrus zest with a subtle element of baking spices. This wine drinks extremely well now but has great potential to positively develop in the cellar over the next 10 years." - Winery
