"As I noted above, the 2014 Chassagne “Caillerets” was still in tank at the time of my visit and was absolutely singing. The great young nose soars from the glass in a nascently complex blend of lemon, pear, a touch of tangerine, kaleidoscopic minerality, floral tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and absolutely rock solid at the core, with a fine sense of youthful reserved, laser-like focus, racy acids and outstanding length and grip on the zesty and electric finish. This is a great example of this superb terroir."

"A broad, generous style, this white delivers peach, lemon pie, nut oil and spice flavors, backed by a vibrant structure that extends the finish as a mineral note chimes in. Shows fine equilibrium, even at this youthful stage. Best from 2018 through 2027. 75 cases made."
"One of the best vineyard sites in Chassagne this wine is deep, with beautiful acidity and lovely fruit, citrus, ripe pineapple, and white peach. Long live wine with excellent balance of fruit and minerality. Should provide drinking pleasure for the next 5-10 yrs." -Importer
