"An open, juicy white, whose peach, apple and stone flavors are defined by a vivid structure that firms on the long finish, this is harmonious and enjoyable now, yet should age well too. Drink now through 2023. 40 cases imported. -Bruce Sanderson "

Product Description:

"Its history begins with the realization of a dream...that of a family of Parisian pharmacists who decided to create a viticultural domaine in Burgundy. In 1974, Charles-Henri Génot and his wife, Marie née Boulanger moved to Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. They acquired their first vineyards in Mercurey and created the Domaine Génot-Boulanger. Charles-Henri Génot never tired in his search for additional terroirs. He obtained new parcels in Meursault - notably the Meursault Villages "Clos du Cromin" - as well as in Chassagne-Montrachet, Volnay, Pommard, and Beaune.

In 1998, François Delaby inherited a total of 22 hectares of vineyards and 30 appellations spanning the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and the Côte Chalonnaise. With the acquisition of vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet (among which the Premier Crus "La Garenne" and "Les Folatières") François Delaby continued the family endeavor for ten years, until his daughter, Aude, and son-in-law, Guillaume Lavollée joined him at the helm.

Domaine Génot-Boulanger is a family estate run by Aude and Guillaume Lavollée, 4th generation vignerons, since 2008. Located in Meursault, they produce 30 different appellations, including 3 Grand Crus and 13 Premier Crus in both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. They started working with organic farming in 2008 and gained certification in 2012. Their goal is to harvest clean and quality grapes without restricting nature. They work soils throughout the year favoring the continual existence of healthy microbes in the soil.

These wines are in the vein of Roulot giving you ultimate class." -Importer
