"Purer on the nose than the 2013 Les Cras, showing a stronger fruit quality to its aromas of lemon drop, peach, apricot and spices. Distinctly less exotic in the mouth as well, with surprising acidity framing and lifting the penetrating citrus and stone fruit flavors. More sharply delineated and harmonious than the Les Cras, showing little sign of botrytis. Finishes tactile, gripping and very long, with a piquant suggestion of grapefruit."
