"Fans of White Burgundy will find lots to love in this pale beauty. It opens with a great deal of minerality expressed as flint or gunpowder. There are aromas of lemon and grapefruit rind as well as the expected quince and pear notes. There’s a hint of green almonds and a subtle honey tone. The mouth has excellent grip or grain. It is exhibiting a very youthful and restrained palate upon release, but I think that like the 2009, which it resembles, it will open up very nicely over the year of its availability for sale"
