Mark Squires - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:

"The 2009 Blanc de Blanc was barrel fermented. Toasty and quite delicious (disgorged Jan. 15, 2016), it is persistent on the finish and complex as well, after some 53 months on the lees. The finish has cascading waves of fruit nicely supported by the wine's acidity. It should hold well, too." June 2016

Kelli White - Vinous :

"Bright gold with a copper tint. This wine opens with a floral, stony nose of Asian pear, rhubarb, mushroom, and oyster shell. The palate is quite broad and soft, with a creamy, leesy coating and an integrated acidity. A distinct marzipan note emerges on the medium-length finish. Disgorged February 2016." June 2016.

Product Description:

"Our classic 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc is clean and racy. A grapefruit peel nose hints at its dominant citrus acidity while fifty-four months on the lees prior to disgorgement has broadened the aromatics considerably. Look for notes of peppermint and brioche on the finish, especially once the bottle has had time to open up." Winery
