Wine Spectator:

“This expressive version offers a rich tapestry of baked currant, ground anise, clove, kumquat, fruitcake and toasted coconut flavors, framed by fine, crystalline acidity. Shows lovely definition and harmony, with a long, creamy finish. Disgorged April 2014. Drink now through 2029.”

Antonio Galloni - Vinous:

“Another gorgeous wine, the 2007 Coeur de Cuvée is rich, ample and totally seductive. In 2007, the Coeur de Cuvée is intensely aromatic and highly expressive, with striking textural resonance throughout. Creamy and spherical through to the finish, the 2007 is a model of elegance and sumptuousness. The 2007 can be enjoyed today for its generous personality or cellared for another decade-plus.”

James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com:

“An 80/20 split between chardonnay and pinot noir, this has an ethereal spicy thread, sweet citrus, plus some redder fruits too; floral and fragrant, very pretty. The palate's boldly flavored, precisely cut and compressed with intense minerally acidity. The lemon and nougat flavors carry deep and the finish has superb focus. Drink from 2018.”

Product Description:

"80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from 55 year old vines; the colour is a delicate gold with very fine and elegant bubbles. On the nose there are aromas of brioche and praline closely followed up by vanilla and dried fruits, simultaneously elegant and powerful. The palate offers up notes of crème brûlée, white pepper and butter as well as an overall sensation of elegance and great finesse. The finish is lengthy and can only be described as a crescendo of flavour." -Importer
