"Starting with the 2014 Corbieres Cuvee des Quarante, this barrel aged (20% new) blend of 45% Carignan, 35% Grenache and 20% Syrah is an elegant, layered effort that has considerable finesse in its plum and raspberry fruits, peppery herbs, and graphite aromas and flavors. It’s slightly mid-weight, so I wouldn’t push the aging curve, yet it’s impeccably made and will drink nicely for 4-5 years."
