Moreover, the island is suitable for the making of organic wines as its isolation from the main land minimizes the risk of grape diseases and the local rushes protect the vineyards from strong winds.

Sansego is the traditional Italian name of the island, which was widely used until recent years and we decided to adopt it when naming our locally produced wines.
