The De Sangre brand is turning into a whole range, but I only tasted the 2018 De Sangre Cabernet Sauvignon, which is from select vineyard plots located in Las Compuertas, Agrelo, Gualtallary and Paraje Altamira. The blend of grapes from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley works really well, and the wine reveals elegance and power in a very balanced way. There are even floral notes, and the spice and herbal notes are well in the background. This has a soft texture and round tannins and finishes long and dry. In reality, it has 9% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc but can still be labeled as Cabernet Sauvignon. 33,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2020.
