The 2018 Le Sughere di Frassinello is laced with crushed flowers, mint, spice and red berry fruit. Aromatic and light on its feet, the Sughere is quite pretty in 2018. I would give it a year or so in bottle to soften, as the finish is a bit tight today.

There's plenty of Sangiovese character in this red, by way of cherry, strawberry, iron, earth and tobacco flavors. This is supple and firmly structured, with a dusting of tannins on the bright finish. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2024. 15,000 cases made, 7,000 cases imported.
