The 2017 Iso is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah, aged 18 months in 50% new French oak. Medium to deep ruby, the nose opens to pure crushed red and black cherry fruits with loads of floral perfume—rose petals and lilac—with nuances of soy sauce, dried herbs and cedar. The palate is medium-bodied, lifted and juicy with nuanced fruits in a grainy frame and finishes long. 251 cases produced.

Saturated ruby. Expressive aromas of blueberry, cherry compote, succulent herbs and pungent flowers are sharpened by a smoky mineral top-note. Subtly sweet and energetic on the palate, offering juicy black/blue fruit flavors that deepen and spread out through the midpalate. Candied licorice and allspice notes build on the long, sappy finish, which features well-knit tannins and lingering spiciness.

Tons of crushed stone aromas make for a mineral-driven nose on this blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah. Tones of snappy boysenberry, flower petals and leather are also here. The stony quality extends to the sip, where dried berry and dried meat flavors also arise.
